By creating an account or using QKmon ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
QKmon periodically pings targets (servers, sites, devices) that you configure, and can notify you by email and/or SMS when a target's status changes. That's the entire scope of the Service.
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," with no warranty of any kind, express or implied -- including, without limitation, any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that checks will run on schedule, that alerts will be delivered, that delivery will be timely, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. The Service is not a substitute for your own independent monitoring of anything critical, and must not be relied upon as the sole means of monitoring infrastructure where a missed or delayed alert could cause harm or loss.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QKmon and its operator shall have no liability whatsoever for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages of any kind -- including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, missed or delayed alerts, downtime, or any damages arising from reliance on the Service -- arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.
We collect your email address, an optional phone number (only if you choose to verify one), the monitors you configure (names/targets/check intervals), and the resulting check history. This data is used solely to operate the Service -- running your checks, showing your dashboard, and sending the alerts you've configured. We do not sell your data.
Phone numbers are opt-in only and verified by a one-time text before being saved. Message & data rates may apply. You can remove your phone number at any time from Settings to stop all texts immediately.
To keep your account active, you must log in at least once every 12 months. If you don't, your account may be paused and all of its monitor history/logs may be permanently deleted without further notice.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability.
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
